hash_hmac() is in included in the PHP core since version 5.1.2. No doubt I'm missing something, but I can't spot it. Any suggestions? We are using a standard out of the box install, and for somereason the hash functions only work using the cli interface, and failsto work with apache giving the following error:PHP To find the number of X completed, when can I subtract two numbers and when do I have to count?

The two share the same base URL: (example): 10.10.10.10/drupal6 (example): 10.10.10.10/drupal7 When I pointed my browser to the drupal7 folder to start the installation, I got a blank screen.
I followed this tutorial to get Apache, MySQL, and PHP running.
Why do jet engines smoke? A tangentially related issue I had that may still be relevant is that the first tutorial walked me through installing Apache 2.4, rather than 2.2. I did, and then I did a chmod 777 to that folder to ensure that there wouldn't be any write issues. The installation completed, but I still get the hash() error when hitting the site: Fatal error: Call to undefined function hash() in /srv/www/[...]/htdocs/drupal7/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 629 Odd, because php-hash is installed.

Or scream at the person who didn't do it, or change the hosting provider if you're using one ... phpMyAdmin works fine on it, so Apache is showing up to work. Then it gave me the fatal error line: Fatal error: Call to undefined function hash() in ../drupal7/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 639 Any suggestions?
